Let's get down to Day 2.

That Tuesday morning started well, I had a buffet breakfast. I repeated the same error again; eating too much. Luckily, the road trip to P.S.B.B Secondary School was a long one, and it provided ample time for me to rest. Due to the lack of rehearsals held before the trip, Ms Padma wanted us to rehearse our performances during the bus ride. Thankfully, the wushu team had got their stuffs right, and we did not had to rehearse on the bus. It is also impossible to do Wushu on the cramped aisle on the bus too.

P.S.B.B Secondary School was the second school that we had to visit. We had a short, but interesting chit-chat session with their head librarian. We thought that she was a senior teacher. After that, we were led into classrooms, and attended one maths lesson there. The lesson was on Conics. However, they were still using the old syllabus, so I could not really understand the lesson. But that was at the start. After some help from the student beside me, I managed to understand some of the concepts and attempted on some questions. The students did not have GCs to assist in their calculations, though they were of the same grade as us. The maths teacher was pretty shocked, at that fact we use calculators to do our maths questions. I assumed that she thought that the maths concepts were not placed much emphasis on, due to the prescene of the calculators. Only after some explanations, she began to understand that maths concepts were still taught and emphasized on. But I doubt that she is convinced. We went to their computer labs, science labs. I was impressed by one particular Computer Science student there. He learned some higher level computing skills during his free time, and managed to come up with a sweet program. I was also impressed at the programming skills of the Computer Science students there. The chemistry labs reminded me of the days @ Geylang Bahru, though the labs were much smaller in size and were also much older. The physics labs were pretty small too, and they had apparatus that I had never seen before. That included a stopwatch that is of similar size to the normal alarm clocks. The school there also had a swimming pool, which is half of the normal swimming pools in the public pools here. Swimming is part of the P.E. till Grade 8, where it becomes optional. We were then invited into a conference room, where some of students there showed us the research project that they had done. It was complex. I was lost. Snacks were served too. I should had taken those snacks. Argh.

We returned to the hotel for buffet lunch. Disaster struck. I started having stomach pains. I did not really enjoy the sight-seeing trip after lunch. It was excruciating. My stomach was constantly hurting, but it hurt even more once in a while. We went to the Planterium to watch a show. I did not really enjoy it much. I was still struggling with my hurting stomach. We went to a catholic church next. And finally the beach. Stomach pain was still on. Argh.

I did not take my dinner. I told my teachers that I was sick and took a rest. They got a doctor and some medicine for me. Not long later, I developed a fever. Well, thanks to Amos who also took care of me when i was sick. And thanks to the 2 teachers too. I constantly woke up in the middle of the night, and i was not sure why.
